Michele Freeman is a local attorney who handles family law, estate planning, property and civil litigation cases. She received her bachelors degree at St Gregory’s University and a law degree from Oklahoma City University in 2008. During her undergraduate and graduate programs, she was the recipient of numerous academic honors. About Michele
Michele attended law school at Oklahoma City University School of Law, receiving her juris doctorate in 2008. While at OCU Law, Michele was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for her academic achievement in Law and Literature as well as Native American Law. In 2010, Michele partnered with her brother, William Widell, at Widell Law Offices in Shawnee Oklahoma. At this time, she began practicing in Pottawatomie, Lincoln, Seminole and Oklahoma County as well as practicing in numerous tribal courts.
In 2012, William left the partnership to serve as a federal defender in the Eastern District of Oklahoma. Michele re-established as an independent law office that is now recognized as Freeman Widell Law. Currently, her primary focus is on cases in Pottawatomie County and tribal court; however, she does still accept cases in Lincoln, Seminole, Oklahoma and Cleveland County.
Ms. Freeman is widely recognized and well respected in the counties and tribal courts she practices. She fights for her clients with determination and integrity.
